“ My partner is a coffee lover, so we decided to give it a try . Personally, I don’t drink coffee often, so it tasted just like any other coffee to me. My partner thought it smelled nice, but wouldn’t say it was anything particularly special. The fun part was having the luwak sit on your shoulder, it’s really heavy though! Side note: it does bite a little, but it doesn’t hurt. The only downside was that I felt a bit bad for the luwak as it had to keep stay on the high table; it kept trying to get down but the table was too tall. A PLUS for the fact that there are cats! ”

“ Balistar Coffee serves good-quality coffee at standard prices, and if you’re a coffee enthusiast, you can also buy local coffee beans for around 60K IDR per 250g. They have a special promo—if you buy two packs of coffee beans, you get a smaller pack for free, which is a nice bonus! They also sell Luwak coffee, though it’s 3–4 times more expensive—we didn’t try it, but it’s available for those curious. One of the coolest things was the live luwak chilling on the table near the counter. You can even pet it, which adds a unique touch to the visit. Overall, a solid spot for coffee, and if you’re into trying different beans, it’s worth checking out! ”
